Sundae is just a little doll! She is all we hoped for....a dark spotted little jennet with outstanding confirmation, width, straight legs, cute little head and what a lover she is! As soon as she hears our voices in the barn, she is right to the door for hugs and rubs. We really look forward to watching Sundae grow up and showing her in the future!

Thank you Frontier Legends, Koby & Charla, Skip & Patsy, for allowing us to purchase Belle Starr, bred to Tin Roof and producing this outstanding little jennet!

TLA Starburst of Galaxy

Chocolate brown foal coat DOB: 8/17/10

Sire: Li'l Angels Galaxy - 30 1/2" NLP smokey black
Grandsire: Itsy Bitsy Burro Co. 1/2 Teaspoon - 30 1/2" dark brown

Dam: Bosier's Shiloh Ago-Go - 32" dark brown
Grandsire: Hartman Trenton - 33 12/" brown & white spotted

Here is our first Galaxy foal and IT'S A BOY! What a surprise to see a big, white spot on his forehead! Starburst measured 20 1/2" at one week old, is stocky built, has straight legs and is so loving already. His foal coat looks like a chocolate brown, so we'll have to wait until he matures to see what color he will be. We knew Shiloh was close to foaling that night but she wanted to do it alone, I guess. Inbetween the hour of checking on her, she had our smallest foal to date, about 9:30 pm. Inquiries welcome!

2009 Foals

TLA Ima Dark Shadow

Dark brown/black jack DOB: 5/5/09

Sire: Splendor's Nestle Special Dark - 32 1/2" black w/light pts (no cross showing)
Grandsire: My World Santana - 31" dark red

Dam: Perfection's Paper Doll - 34" dark brown
Grandsire: Perfection's Jett - 30 1/2" black

This little jack is Doll's first foal and he's a cutie! We haven't decided on a name yet as he was born early. Doll really surprised us and had him on her own. He's a little guy with straight legs, a nice little body, a gorgeous head and loving personality. Keep checking for new photos!

Waigand's Buffy

Dark brown jennet DOB: 4/14/09 Owner: Rich Waigand, WI

Sire: Splendor's Nestle Special Dark - 32 1/2" black w/light pts (no cross showing)
Grandsire: My World Santana - 31" dark red

Dam: KC's Flicker Dew - 34 1/2" brown
Grandsire: KC's Flicker by LN - 32" dark red

Buffy is an adorable little jennet. She is the first foal for Flicker. Both mom and baby did great all on their own with no assistance. Buffy looks dark brown right now but could actually turn black, time will tell. She has straight legs and good confirmation, good bite, a cute little head and she is so fuzzy! Another very nice Nestle daughter!

TLA Nestle's Sparkle Girl

Black jennet DOB: 4/3/09

Height: immature

Sire: Splendor's Nestle Special Dark - 32 1/2" black w/light pts (no cross showing)
Grandsire: My World Santana - 31" dark red

Dam: Short Spots Sunny - 34 1/2" dark brown spot
Grandsire: Honkey Donkey's Safari Jack - 30 1/4" brown spot

Sparkle is a gorgeous little black jennet. Sunny had her all by herself, outside on a cool but sunny morning. Sparkle has a little brownish coloring on the tips of her hair coat but the older she gets, the darker she gets and we can no longer see her cross. We are very pleased with what Nestle and Sunny has produced. Sparkle is straight legged, muscled with a good bite and a beautiful little head. She loves people and already enjoys laying in our lap for hugs! Keep an eye on this outstanding baby girl!

2008 Foals

TLA Heza Special Dark Chip

Height: immature

jack foal - Black with light points

DOB: 6/27/08

Sire:  Splendor’s Nestle Special Dark  -  32 ½”  black w/light points, no stripe showing

Grandsire:  My World Santana  -  31”  dark red

Dam:  Bosier’s Shiloh Ago-Go  -  32”  brown

Grandsire:  Hartman’s Trenton  -  33 ½”  spotted brown

Chip was born about 10 days early and sure was a little guy.  He is a little sweetheart and so loving!  When             born, his coloring looked very dark sorrel with black legs and mane and tail.  Chip could be a dark russet or maybe turn black like his sire, Nestle.  We’re excited to see a different colored Nestle foal!  Now at 1 month old, he has filled out, added some muscle, has straight legs with good confirmation and a baby doll head.  Again, Nestle and Shiloh have done a fantastic job on this young jack.  Chip is a full brother to TLA Ms Liberty Special…Nestle’s only daughter to date.  We will maintain Chip as a possible future herd sire.

TLA Dark Sock Special

Height: immature

Black Spot Jack

DOB: 5/2/2008

Sire:  Splendor’s Nestle Special Dark  -  32 ½”  black w/light points, no stripe showing

Grandsire:  My World Santana  -  31”  dark red

Dam:  Splendor’s Sophie  -  33 ½”  spotted gray

Grandsire:  Fisher’s Gideon’s Beau  -  31 ½”  spotted brown

We are thrilled with Socks!  From the night he was born, he has been a joy to be around, so loveable!  Socks is uniquely marked with one black front sock, mostly white with other black spots.  He has straight, strong legs with good bone, great confirmation, a nice head with a stocky build.  He was our smallest foal born to date, until his half brother, Chip, was born.  Their sire, Nestle, is throwing smaller than his own size, consistently.  As Socks is maturing, he is showing more muscle.  His spots are truly black at this time.  We will be holding on to Socks to see how he matures, for our future spotted herd sire.
